God bless LovelandPolitics! Whenever I start to lose my faith in humanity I come to this website to see one more story sticking it to the cheats, bullies and con men trying to sell another gimmick to regular folks.

Don’t you dare bend but keep pluggin away! You are in my prayers as you have some powerful and dangerous enemies now so let God walk with you to keep delivering the truth!

I pay the McWhinney taxes the way my Jewish ancestors labored in the hot sun to build the pyramids of the Egyptians. The McWhinney pyramid is being built on my labor and sweat so their judgment day will come also. I only pray the voice of reason and truth in Loveland is never silenced.

The elections don’t matter too much because many people can be corrupted once they win office with McWhinney’s impressive wealth gathered from the innocent people of Loveland.

Take care my friends. Forever in my prayers to the Almighty!

Zack’s comment may be cynical, but he’s not without reason. As a longtime observer, I’ve seen more than one supposedly decent person turn to the “dark side” once elected to Council. It takes 3 things to stand up to the pressure: enough smarts, principle, and enough spine to use the 1st two.

My predictions don’t matter, but I hope we get a change of direction. I voted no on the lodging tax because I suspect it would just be used to build another monument for the McWhinneys. (in fact, if it does pass, I’ll bet on that.)

I think LovelandPolitics has hit the prediction scale right on the head. Cecil Gutierrez for Mayor and Joan Shaffer, Kathleen McEwen for Council with Adam Konecki, Joe Hertwig running a good possibility. Daryl Klassen, and Dave Clark have voted too many times rubber stamping McWhinney requests and hanging the loveland taxpayers out to dry.

We need independence on the future city council where everyone’s opinions are listened to and considered before major decisions are made. Take for instance the land speculation purchase of 402/I25 — this was rushed through the council in 2 weeks without anyone thinking about the consequences of such an action. Now we are looking at the possible loss of huge amounts of tax payer cash trying to dump this hot potato and Johnstown is now across the I25 corridor. We can thank Clark, Rousey and of course, Don Williams for this big blooper! We don’t need these “act before you think” candidates stepping into the mayor position. Heaven forbid!

VOTE and drop your ballot at Sixth St. and Cleveland. There’s a drive up box there. You don’t even have to get out of your car. You can make a difference!

I think LovelandPolitics hit the prediction scale right on the head. Cecil Gutierez as Mayor, Joan Shaffer and Kathleen McEwen as councilors and Adam Konecki and Joe Hertwig as possible winners. Daryl Klassen and Dave Clark has voted all too often with the McWhinney organization and have not demonstrated independent leadership in most their actions.

In fact, the highway 402/I25 land speculation that the council rushed into after a 2 week deliberation. Buy high, sell low and leave the loveland taxpayers hanging out to dry financially. After committing 6.7 million to trying to stop Johnstown from annexing property west of I25, the opposite occurs and now we have Johnstown to deal with along with paying the 6.7 million bill. A real stroke of genius by the likes of Daryl Klassen, Dave Clark, Jan Brown and of course, Don Williams the master of act before you think.

Local politics is important to us all. VOTE today on sixth St. & Cleveland and put in real independence and have a voice in government — Cecil For Mayor!

Early results are good for the mayor race.
Cecil A. Gutierrez = winning with 36.52% in the early count
