    Will he benefit? Probably not. Hurt? Not likely unless the DA can’t convict because the sheriff lost evidence or botches the investigation. Either way he has lots of support and can have Kathay’s seat if he really wants it.

    Expect this effort to sling mud against him because that’s how things here are done.

    I Hope there’ll be some more reasonable people runining for that seat. We’ve got enough crazies in local government already. Kathay’s been pretty good there, but I hate to see it revert back to the loonies.

    His website may be :separate from” the County but it’s wrong that he runs what is basically political messaging with County funds. (You can check this out for yourself… it’s run by County personnel on County taxes.
