Special Report On Taxpayer Transparency Act

Despite threats from Rep. Don Marostica to embarrass her if she does it, Rep. BJ Nikkel has introduced the Taxpayer Transparency Act (HB 09-1288)

It appears as though Marostica promised the governor to drop the bill in exchange for a promise to implement it by executive order but what else did he promise? People are wondering as Marostica appears to be the Democrat’s dancing poodle on the Joint Budget Committee. Only time may tell but there really must be more in it for Marostica.

See our special investigative report on the abandonment by Marostica on an important bill he leveraged heavily to campaign on during his recent re-election to Colorado’s legislature.

Read the story. Very interesting stuff. When will people organize a recall against this this lying RINO? It makes me sick to my stomach that he runs around calling himself a “Republican Leader” when he is neither. The earlier comparison I saw on this blogosphere between Marostica and Benedict Arnold was unfair and uncalled for!

Benedict Arnold at least won battles for this country before changing sides. Marostica betrayed his party and never won anything for them.

    What a loser and has-been!

Hey, everybody there is somthin being organized but can’t say yet. I feel badly for the leaders in the state house who need to see this clown everyday running around calling himself a republican.

One question though. did he ever pay the taxes he owed or was that another deal he worked out? I agree he is a loser no matter how much money he gained on city council.

  3. Bobby says:

    Yeah right.

Don Marostica is a true American and a moderate Republican. Just wondering how many wars you ever served in?

He wants what is best for Colorado. He cares deeply for the future transportation in this state and works everyday so you idiots can drive to your boring jobs.

Marostica is right about the Republican leadership and the Dependence Institute. They are not the future of this party. We elect leaders to decide tax issues and balance the state’s budget. Wieners who try and control everything through stupid constitutional amendments are ruining this state. We really need to get people who can make decisions and solve problems. Gridlock is all the current Republican leaders know to do and this is terrible for the state and our GOP. It is time reasonable and educated people with courage like Don run this party to get things done for a change. All we hear from the far-right wacko crowd is what not to do in the legislature. Don’t build that or do this while we all sit around and wait for real leadership to come along. Don is a natural born leader who knows what it is to be under fire literally. He can lead this party better than May or April or whatever the hell his name is anyway. It is time you take down this garbage rumor mongering trashy webpage and do something worthwhile for once in your sad little lives. How about trying to make some real money instead of just complaining about people like Don who know what it takes to become wealthy by his own bootstraps with nobodies help you stupid cowards and losers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You publish the incoherent crap above but you censor valid criticism of The Reporter-Herald? This so-called blog is a joke.

Marostica and Larimer County are a microcosm of what is wrong with the Republican party today in America. He clearly doesn’t care about individual freedom, personal liberty or even people’s right to keep the fruits from their own labor. On your other story, Steve Johnson is even worse and will clearly be knocked-out by whiney Markey in two years because Johnson is too worried about what the liberals are going to say about him. We need leaders not followers in this country and in Larimer County. Marostica’s time in Denver makes our party look like a train wreck and he needs to go back to selling cars or whatever it was he did before being elected. Kudos to BJ for having the balls Marostica lacks. As for your story on this Larry Carilo guy, never heard of him so can’t say if he will do a good job or not.

  6. I still don’t understand what Marostica supposedly threatened to do to Nikkel? Embarrass her how? By saying they are friends?

The only person Don has embarrassed is himself. He looks the fool while BJ has gathered tons of support.

  7. Larry says:

The new Rep Nikkel has the guts to stand by her convictions. Right or wrong, that gets my respect.

    Bobby,
You’re cheerleading rant for Marostica included the sentence, “He cares deeply for the future transportation in this state and works everyday so you idiots can drive to your boring jobs.” Since he and his democrat allies have now gutted the funding mechanism for future transportation improvements with passage of SB 228, don’t you feel just a little silly? Ordinarily, it takes months or years for one’s folly to catch up to them. In this case, two & a half weeks. If you have integrity, you must admit that you were wrong about Marostica, at least in this area. His betrayal even includes his extravagant promises about transportation improvements.
